A new love

I have always loved british period pieces 

And Downton Abbey is no exception 

I just finnished the first season 

(Yes I should have been doing homework instead)

But I am hooked 

I love the clothes that the girls wear 

I am looking forward to the next season

It is on instant on Netflix 

I suggest checking it out

We bug our siblings

Before Nathan's Birthday party

We stopped at Bakers

and bugged Nathans brother Austin

I enjoyed embarrassing him by taking pictures of him working

Also I only have 5 more weeks of school!

Husbands Birthday Bash

 For Nathan's Birthday last week 

We went to his parents house 

I made a cake 

and he played Halo with his friends 

while the boys played Halo I went and got sushi with the wives

 On Saturday the day after his party

Nathan and my dad shot clay traps

Nathan did pretty well 

and my dad only missed too 

I also discovered Hobo's 

the most amazing vintage store in Redlands 

I showed off my cool new clothes 

After the shooting range we went to lunch at Macaroni Grill 

And Nathan got his xbox! 

He is pretty excited 

Overall it was a good weekend with family and friends

Today I saved 3 lives...sorta

Today I gave blood at school

I haven't given blood in a long time 

The last time was when I was at Cal Poly

So I was excited to finally have the time to give 

and I was excited I passed the iron test 

half the time I do try to give blood, I don't pass the iron test 

So I gave blood and saved 3 lives 

Here are a few facts about Blood and giving it:

• 4.5 million Americans will a need blood transfusion each year
• 43,000 pints: amount of donated blood used each day in the U.S. and Canada
• Someone needs blood every two seconds
• Only 37 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood – less than 10 percent do annually
• One pint of blood can save up to three lives
• A patient could be forced to pass up a lifesaving organ, if compatible blood is not available to support the transplant
• 46.5 gallons: amount of blood you could donate if you begin at age 17 and donate every 56 days until you reach 79 years old
• 10 pints: amount of blood in the body of an average adult
•  One unit of whole blood is roughly the equivalent of one pint
• Blood makes up about 7 percent of your body's weight
• A newborn baby has about one cup of blood in his body

I hate school!

Dear School,
I hate you. You make me stress out. I hate being stressed. I miss out on so many fun things because of the work that tags along with you. For example, my mother got tickets to see the Ellen show today. I was supposed to go. I was planning on going too. But I was so stressed out with school work and internship applications and not being home this weekend that on Tuesday I called my mom telling her that I couldn't go. Well if any of you watch Ellen then you know she likes to give away great things. Last time I went to her show 3 years ago I got a diamond necklaces and a gourmet chocolate cake. Well my mom leaves a screaming message on my phone. When I called back I found out that Ellen invited the whole audience back for her 12 Days of Christmas special. Now if you have seen the show you know that she gives away crazy amazing things for the 12 Days of Christmas. Yes I am sad that I missed this once in a lifetime opportunity. But really I am just angry. I am angry that the month of April is filled with papers, exams, studying, lack of sleep, job hunting, and STRESS! I am so over school and struggling to find motivation. I only have 6 more weeks and then I am FREE! So school I am ready for this up hill battle.  And on May 21st I am gonna kick you butt all the way to Pizza Hut. So get Ready!
